Mike is a member of the Information Systems and Innovation Group at the London School of Economics. He previously worked in local authority adult education in London and was active in developing the literacy and numeracy curricula for adults in the 1970s and 80s. At LSE he has researched the relationship between non-use of Information and Communication Technologies and social exclusion developing a critique of the existing basic digital skills offer.
